I grew up in a small town in Northern Malaysia, where education was the ultimate benchmark of worth. Every conversation among parents, relatives, and neighbors began with the same question: “How many A’s did you get?” Comparison and lectures followed, and for a long time, I believed I wasn’t the “bright one.” That changed when I met a teacher who connected lessons to real-world meaning. Suddenly, subjects I once failed became my strengths, and I discovered that my learning style wasn’t about memorization—it was about relevance.

Yet another challenge awaited: choosing the right path. In my world, the options were narrow—doctor, lawyer, or engineer. Mathematics and history ruled out two, leaving medicine, fueled by my love for biology. I pursued Biomedicine as a steppingstone to becoming a doctor, only to realize later that the dream wasn’t mine. Immersed in research, I wanted to continue with a master’s degree, but financial realities led me into the lab. Eventually, I faced the truth: I was following emotions, not a future-proof plan.

That realization pushed me to pause, reflect, and reset. I joined banking—not for a career, but to gain the financial knowledge I lacked. From there, I found my true calling in sales. Fifteen years later, I stand rooted in industries spanning pharmaceuticals, medical technology, dermato-cosmetics, .FMCG, and diagnostics. Each role gave me new perspectives, teaching me how strategies, reporting styles, and ideas can be integrated to win in business

One conviction has guided me throughout: no strategy matters without execution, and execution is won by people. I believe every individual is unique—like a fish that cannot be asked to climb a tree.
